Paris, France, June 12th, 2021 — French tech startup, Appinest Sas, along with their portfolio of applications such as children’s chore mobile app pistache-app.com, today announced it has been acquired by a California tech founder and investor. The Paris-based co-founder of Appinest SAS, Thibault Louis-Lucas, said “We could not be happier with the acquisition, after many years of hard work and we are thrilled that our vision will continue to grow and bring happiness to children and parents”.

The new owner, who asked to remain undisclosed, has said “We love the Paris startup tech scene, and believe in the significant creative and engineering talent in France. For this reason we plan to invest over €4 Million into Appinest to grow the team, acquire more edtech startups in the space, and bring the Pistache product worldwide.” He added, “The company will continue to be headquartered in Paris, and is immediately hiring for positions in senior management, marketing, software engineering, and mobile development.”

The recently completed acquisition makes Appinest one of many French tech companies attracting international interest and investment in 2020–2021.
